Mission Statement:  The Communication Committee maintains the
www.KeNaniKai.org web site, co-ordinates the KNK AOAO Newsletters and
provides a printable, on-line  'Owner Directory".  It's vision is to enhance
communication so as to improve the relationships between the Board of
Directors, owners and staff.  Included in its mission, among other things, is
to seek out ways to continually improve communication while reducing costs.
Free WiFi Hot Spot:  The office, pool and picnic table area now has free wireless
Internet for owners and guests of Ke Nani Kai.  The password is available from the office
upon check-in.
BULLETIN BOARDS-Please review the Board Approved Policy for owner postings.
Web Site:  This web site was created in April of 2009 to provide owners with
information that was previously challenging to obtain.
Newsletters:  In an effort to keep owners informed, newsletters have been
increased from bi-annually to quarterly .  Current and previous newsletters can be
found on-line on the
"AOAO Updates" page.
Owner Directory:  An 'Owner Directory' will be maintained on the web site, on
the
Contacts page.  Owner submission is voluntary.
E-Communications:  Newsletters, property updates, AOAO happenings and
events can be communicated in a more quickly and cost effective manner through
email.  All owners are requested to authorize electronic communications with
Destination Maui AND with the AOAO.
Polling:  A method for polling of the majority of the owners on issues is in the
works.  In an effort to have feedback from a majority of the owners, polling will
not be initiated until 50% of the owners have elected to sign up for
E-Communications.
Meetings via Teleconference:  An effort is underway to establish a
teleconference system for off-island owners to listen in for all Board of Director
Meetings and for the Annual Owners Meeting.  Currently, all of the meeting sites
available on Molokai do not have "land line" capabilities.  Once this challenge is
over come, details will be provided to owners when a solution is available.
Maintenance Work Orders:  An on-line Maintenance Work Order has been
created for owners to use to submit repair requests for AOAO Common Element
property, owner requests to have their dryer-vents cleaned out and to
communicate other AOAO related items of information or action request.
